Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
NovatoSpirit was founded in 2005 to improve the physical and mental health of Novato’s most vulnerable children through sports. All of our kids live in poverty, some are homeless, and most of them struggle with health challenges. To boost their strength and resilience, we give them 5 year athletic scholarships with exceptional mentors of karate, taekwondo, wrestling, dance or soccer. During this 5-year span, the children progress and see they’re not ensnared by their challenges; they can embrace themselves for who they authentically are.
