2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
4 T. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla


1 stick margarine
3 T. cocoa
5 T. milk
Powdered sugar

Sift flour and sugar in bowl. Heat margarine, cocoa and water in pan until it boils. Pour over flour and sugar. Mix well. Beat in eggs. Add sour milk, soda and vanilla. Blend. Pour in greased sheet pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. For frosting, boil margarine, cocoa and milk. Remove from heat and beat in powdered sugar to make thick. Put on hot cake.
