½ lb. dried prunes or 1 ½ c.
2 c. sifted flour
1 ½ c. sugar
1 ¼ tsp. soda
1 tsp. amam
1 tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. cloves ground
½ c. oil
3 eggs
½ c. nuts

Topping:
½ c. sugar
2 T. flour
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer prunes in water for 20 minutes, drain. Save ⅔ cup water. Pit and chop prunes. Sift dry ingredients. Add oil, mix, add eggs. Stir in prunes. Put in a 9 X 13 greased and floured pan.

Topping:
Mix sugar, flour and butter. Sprinkle over cake mixture.

Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.
