Filling:
4-5 cups peeled and sliced apples
¾ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp butter
½ to ¾ cup sugar (depending on tartness of apple variety you are using)
Topping:
⅓ cup butter
⅓ cup brown sugar
¾ flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400º.
2. Mix together sugar, butter, cinnamon and apples. Pour into prepared unbaked pie crust.
3. Mix together topping ingredients until it is evenly crumbly. Spread on top of apple filling.
4. Bake for 45-55 minutes till apples are tender.
** If your crust starts getting too dark just cover it with strips of aluminum foil till done baking.
