2 medium cloves of garlic, crushed
5 tablespoons olive oil
5 tablespoons olive oil (or lemon juice)
1/4 teaspoon salt (more, to taste)
black pepper
1/4 teaspoon each: dry mustard, dill weed, oregano, basil
1 tablespoon orange or lemon juice

Combine everything and mix well. Store in a tightly-covered jar. Easily doubled.

If you want your salad to taste amazing, above ordinary--this is the dressing for you. Easy and yummy. And if you are short of time and herbs, make it without the herbs. It will still be good.
