½ c. less 1 T. Crisco
3 T. boiling water
1 T. milk
1¼ c. all-purpose flour sifted once before measuring
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put the shortening in a medium size mixing bowl. Add boiling water and milk and break up shortening with a fork. Beat with a mixer until creamy, and holds a soft peak.
Sift the flour and salt together. Mix by hand. Roll between waxed paper, and peel off paper place in pie pan.

Sorry...., Ma didn’t include baking instructions. If you want to try this crust, you could use the baking instructions for Mom’s pie crust.or just Google-it. Ma and Mom both made delicious pie crusts and pies. That’s why I never learned how to bake. They always made the holiday desserts!
