Pastry
2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
3 to 4 apples (Gala, Fugi, Pink Lady, etc)
½ c. packed dark brown sugar
1 T. flour
melted butter

Sauce
3 T. butter
1⁄3 c. packed brown sugar
3 to 4 T. apricot brandy or orange juice
1⁄3 c. dried cranberries
½ to ¾ c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400° F. Core and half each apple, then cut into thin slices (about 75-100 total slices). Toss slices with brown sugar and flour to coat. Cut thawed pastry sheet into 24 pieces, then place onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush each piece with melted butter. Arrange 3-4 apple slices on each piece of pastry. Bake for 20 minutes in the top half of the oven until pastry has browned. Allow to cool. To make sauce, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring often. As mixture bubbles, add in half of the liquids and continue to cook. As mixture thickens, add in rest of liquid and cranberries and cook until thickened to coat a spoon. Drizzle each tart with brandy sauce and cranberries. Top with walnuts.
