1 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups quick cook oatmeal
1 package chocolate chips
1 cup coconut or chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix in vanilla.

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Mix into butter mixture. Stir in oatmeal, chocolate chips and coconut.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
