1 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
½ c. powdered sugar
2½ c. flour
1½ c. uncooked quick oats

Glaze:
1½ c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 to 3 T. milk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325° F For cookies: beat butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy. Slowly mix in flour on low until thoroughly combined. Mix in oats. Dough will be stiff. Divide dough into four equal portions. From each portion shape 12 mounded crescents. Place on parchment paper on an ungreased cookie sheet (the dough will not spread). Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool. For Glaze: mix all ingredients until smooth. Dip cooled cookies in thin glaze and let dry. Store in a loosely covered container. Makes 4 dozen.
