3 eggs
1 lb. butter, softened
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
colored sugars, finely ground nuts or nonpareils

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well the eggs, butter, flour, sugar and baking powder. Place dough in the refrigerator overnight. Take out and roll into 4 logs approximately 2" x 7". Roll logs in colored sugar, nuts or nonpareils. Wrap each roll in wax paper and put into the freezer for at least 5 hours. Take out logs and slice ¼ inch thick. Place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Yields 6-7 dozen cookies.
