1 c. soft butter
¾ c. granulated sugar
¾ c. packed brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. quick-cooking oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. canned pumpkin
1½ c. semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F, In a bowl cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda and cinnamon; stir into creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoonfuls unto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes 4 dozen.
