½ C Butter or Shortening, melted
1 C Molasses
2 tbsp Warm Water
1 Egg, beaten

3 C Flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp ginger
1 ½ tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, molasses, water, and egg. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, ginger, and cinnamon.
Combine wet and dry ingredients. Let stand for at least 30 minutes in refrigerator.
Roll out dough and cut out cookies.
Bake at 400 º for 15 minutes.

Warm Water
Red Food Coloring
Wintergreen Extract

Combine ingredients. Add more water for thinner icing, less water for thicker icing.
