1 c. margarine
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. crushed graham cracker crumbs
12 oz bag chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine. Add peanut butter to melted margarine. Mix graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar in large bowl. pour peanut butter and margarine mixture over dry ingredients. Mix together, like pie crust. Press into 9x13 pan. Melt chocolate chips in microwave, 30 seconds at a time, until smooth. Spread chocolate over bars. Chill. Cut into squares.

These were a school favorite, and when our neighbor Judy Arends made them, I asked for the recipe! She called them Reese's Peanut Butter bars, but I always knew them as pioneer bars from elementary school. I think it was because they were so simple.
