4 c. oatmeal
1 c. butter, margarine or shortening. (original recipe calls for oleo)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. white syrup (Karo)
3/4 c. peanut butter
12 oz package of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix as pie crust - oatmeal, brown and white sugars and corn syrup with shortening. Press into jelly roll pan and bake for 12 minutes at 350º. Allow to cool. Melt bag of chocolate chips and add peanut butter to chocolate. Spread over oatmeal crust. Refrigerate and cut into squares when cool.
