2 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons butter
1 egg, beaten
2/3 cup milk
Apples, sugar, cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Work in butter. Mix to a light dough with egg and milk. Press into a well greased shallow pan. Top with apples cut into eights, pressing down lightly in dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
