1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach
1 16-ounce can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1 6-ounce can tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
1 7-ounce package pasta shells, cooked and drained
1 cup shredded sharp American cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or 1 slice of bread torn into bits)
2 eggs, well beaten
Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Oven to 350º
Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic; drain. Cook spinach; drain but reserve liquid. Add water to spinach liquid to make 1 cup. Set spinach aside.
Add liquid, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, paste, salt and pepper to ground beef; simmer 10 minutes
Combine spinach, cooked pasta, cheese, eggs, and bread crumbs. Spread into greased 9X13 inch pan. Top with meat sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
