1 stick margarine
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
1 c. chopped apple
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º. Cream margarine and sugar. Add beaten egg, apple and nuts. Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder. Add dry ingredients to the wet and mix well. Spread into 10x10 pan. Bake 40 minutes; cool in pan and cut into squares.
