Directions:In a large saucepan over medium heat, brown ground beef. Add in ½ Teaspoon garlic powder, ½ Teaspoon of Italian seasoning, ½ Teaspoon of black pepper, ½ Teaspoon of onion powder, ½ Teaspoon of American Soul seasoning salt, scramble until nice and brown, then drain excess grease. Set aside. Then, boil your macaroni noodles in a separate pot & once it comes to a full boil, and drain. Note: Make sure you don't over boil the noodles. Once completed, in a large pot, add your 1 to 2 Cans of kidney beans, 1 Small can of tomato paste, 2 Cans of tomato sauce, 1 Can of diced tomatoes, ½ white onion (chopped fine), ½ green bell pepper (chopped fine), and cook for 25 minutes on medium to low heat. Stir in your ground beef and macaroni noodles, let simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes and serve. This dish is what I call "macalicious"! |

Notes: The one solid friend I had... she knew my inner thoughts and completely understood my outward expressions of feelings. K&K! That's what everybody called us. That was my girl, my best friend in the whole world, and she stood right beside me on my wedding day. The friendship we had was the best. We both were a mess, but you didn't see me without her or her without me. Unfortunately, she had her own struggles fighting Sickle Cell Anemia; which is a horrible disease that occurs in 1 out of every 365 African-American births. What a deadly disease! My bestie lost her fight and passed away on October 25, 2003. The disease took my best friend away from ME! WHY?
