Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 fryers, cut up
1 (8 oz) jar apricot or peach preserves
1 regular size (about 16 oz) bottle Russian salad dressing
1 packet Lipton onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place chicken pieces in large (sheet cake size) pan, or use any pan that will hold all of the chicken
pieces in a single layer.
2. Mix together the preserves, dressing and onion soup mix. Pour over chicken.
3. Cover with foil and cook at 325º for 1½ hours. Then remove foil and cook another 30 minutes.
Variations:
In place of preserves use 1 can whole cranberry sauce. Or use one can of dark sweet cherries and ¼
cup brown sugar.
**You can also make this recipe in a slow cooker with chicken wings. Makes a nice appetizer for a covered dish dinner.
***If you can't find Russian dressing then I have substituted a dark orange French or Catalina.
