6 slices bread, dried (white is preferred)
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. dry mustard
½ lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter an 8 x 8-inch pan. Remove crust from bread slices. Butter and cube bread.

In a large bowl, beat eggs and milk with a fork. Add salt and dry mustard. Add cubed bread and grated cheese. Mix. Pour ingredients into pan. Bake for one hour.

Can easily be doubled, in which case use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
