¼ c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
2½ c. drained pineapple
4 slices white bread, torn apart

Directions:

Beat butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy. In a casserole dish mix the pineapple and bread. Add egg mixture and stir until bread is covered. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until golden brown.

This recipe is from my daughter-in-law, Heather French. Her family from Pennsylvania always served it with ham. The real name is Pineapple Bread Pudding.
