1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix (pudding recipe)
½ cup rum
½ cup water½
⅓ cup oil
3 eggs
¼ cup flour
½ cup grated nuts (optional)

Glaze:

1 ½ sticks butter
1 ½ cups sugar
3/8 cup water
3/8 cup rum

Directions:

greeze pan, flour and put grated nuts in bottom of pan.
bake at 325º for one hour

Glaze:

About 5 minutes before the cake is taken out of the oven, boil all of the ingredients for the glaze for about 3 minutes. Pour the glaze over the hot cake immediately after taking it out of the oven. Leave the cake in the pan for about 30 minutes or when it is just warm to touch then turn the cake out on to a plate or serving dish.

For variations, you can use Kahlua instead of rum with a chocolate cake or Amaretto in place of rum. Be careful concerning the number of times you serve this to your children. They will get burned out of it and talk ugly about you.
