1/4 cup olive oil
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 lb beef filets, cut into 4 pieces
1 cup beef broth
4 slices French bread

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oil in a heavy skillet. Add the onions and mushrooms. Cook until soft.
Remove the mixture with a slotted spoon. Add the steak and cook until the desired temperature.
Place the beef on the bread. Swirl the broth in the pan [deglaze].
Reduce slightly and spoon sauce over the steaks.
