2 c. old fashioned rolled oats
½ c. ground flax seed
1 tbsp. black chia seeds
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ c. raw honey
½ c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 scoop whey protein powder
½ c. dark chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Add rolled oats, ground flax seed, chia seeds, cinnamon, honey, peanut butter, vanilla extract and protein powder to food processor. Pulse until blended. Transfer mixture to a large bowl and add chocolate chips. Stir to combine. Form energy bite mixture into one-inch balls and place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Cover and place in refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve!

I make these as grab-n-go snacks for my kids who eat them in the morning, after school and before practices. I sometimes add coffee grounds to the mix for my teenage sleepyheads before they head out the door.
