2 -4 oz beef tenderloin steaks
1 garlic clove
Coarse ground pepper
1 tsp butter
1 cup fresh mushrooms
2 shallots or sweet onion
1/4 C red wine
1/2 C beef broth
1 tsp cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Rub both sides
Of each steak with cut side of garlic. Sprinkle each side of steak
with salt and pepper. Place steaks on foiled pan. Broil
6 to 8 min each side or till desired doneness.
Melt margarine in nonstick skillet over med heat. Add shallots
and mushrooms and cook 4 to 6 min. Add wine and cook 1
minute.
In small bowl combine 1/4 cup broth and cornstarch.
Stir into wine mixture. Cook and stir until bubbly. Add an
additional 1/4 cup broth if desired. Serve sauce over steak.
