2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tbsp. white vinegar

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 cup popcorn kernels

Directions:
Directions:
Pop corn in oil. Place in a large bowl.

Boil sugar, water, corn syrup and salt to soft ball stage. Add vanilla and vinegar and continue to cook until crack stage (270 to 290 degrees). Pour over popcorn.

Butter hands and roll into balls.

Mom used to make popcorn balls for Halloween and pass them out to the neighborhood. They were always so good.
