Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
¼ lb butter
1 c. quick oats
Pour 1 ¼ c. boiling water over the butter and oats and let stand until cool

Combine:
2 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 ½ c. flour
1 tsp vanilla

Beat all ingredients well and pour into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
Bake at 350* for 35 to 40 min.

Topping
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. butter
1 Tbs milk
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecan nuts

Cook slowly brown sugar, butter and milk until boiling: Add coconut and pecans;
Spread on hot cake and put cake under broiler until light brown.

Watch carefully so the cake does not burn., happens quickly!
