1¾ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
2 c. water
½ c. butter/margarine
chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large saucepan, boil raisins in water for 10 minutes. Add butter and let cool. In the same saucepan, add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add nuts. Bake in greased 10x10 pan for 35 minutes.
