Russet potatoes, amount depends on how much you want to make.
slices of butter cut into small pieces
salt and pepper
Italian seasoning
garlic, minced
shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Brush bottom and sides of a baking dish or cast iron skillet with olive oil.The size of the pan will depend on how many potatoes you use.
Using a mandolin or sharp knife, slice potatoes to thin-medium thickness. Place potatoes vertically and loosely in cast iron skillet so they circle the outer and inner spaces of pan (spiraling to middle of pan), each slice slightly leaning to circle pan.
Sprinkle minced garlic, Italian Seasoning, salt and pepper on top of potatoes. Dot with small pieces of butter. Cover with foil, bake for one hour or until done. Uncover, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake another 15-20 minutes.
