2¼ C unsifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 C soft butter
¾ C sugar
¾ C brown sugar firmly packed
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
12 oz chocolate chips
1 C chopped nuts optional

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl mix flour, soda, and salt and set aside. In large bowl combine butter, sugars and vanilla, beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture mix well. Stir in chips and nuts. Put in a greased cookie sheet (15x10x1). Bake at 350 º for 15-20 minutes. Can divide between 2 - 9x13 pans.
