1½ tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
1 pork butt/shoulder roast [4-5 lbs]
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all seasonigs in a small bowl and rub evenly over the pork orast. Place meat in a 6 quart slow cooker and add water. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until pork is very tender. [Safe internal temperature is 145º] Remove from cooker to a large cutting board or platter and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Pull, slice or chop to serve on sandwiches or a a perfect addition to pasta and salad.
