1 pound ground beef
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 can mushroom pieces and stems
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices of american or provolone cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in skillet, add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce & remove from pan.
2. Add 2 tbsp butter in the pan add chopped onions, green peppers and cook til caramelized. Add salt, and pepper to taste. You can add chopped mushrooms if you like.
3. Once it is brown add the meat back in the pan and mix together.
4. Add shredded mozzarella cheese or shredded cheddar cheese to mixture and add remove from heat.
5. Open buns and scoop mixture on one side and place a cheese slice on top and put it in the broiler til toasty.
You can also add a can of cheddar cheese soup & make them into cheesy burgers!
