4 bacon slices
2 onions sliced
1 tsp thyme
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp oil
4 pork chops thick cut
2 tbsp water
1 3/4 c chicken broth
3 garlic cloves
2 tbsp flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. 1 tbsp oil in hot skillet and braise pork chops on both sides. Remove from heat and place on plate.

2. Cook bacon in separate sauce pan until crispy remove from pan, chop and set aside.

3. Save grease and add flour stir until bubbling 2 minutes. Stir in chick broth bring to boil 1 minute.

4. Place onions in pan that chops were in with 1 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp water cover and cook 5 minutes. Add bay leaf, thyme, pork plus any juice in plate and broth mixture, cover and simmer 30 minutes.

5. Remove bay leaf and place on serving plate sprinkle bacon on top.
