• One 28-oz. tin chick peas
• 2 – 4 cups shredded cabbage
• 1 kolbassa or other spicy sausage cut up
• ½ cup or so of rice (cooked or raw)
• 1 – 2 cups chicken stock
• 1 clove garlic crushed, salt and pepper

Directions:

~ Amounts of ingredients are estimates – I just throw in what looks good.
~ Recipe can be modified in many ways – add onion, carrots, celery, herbs, tomatoes. Substitute pasta for rice; ham or chicken for sausage.
~ Combine all ingredients in large pot. Bring to boil and simmer until rice and cabbage are cooked.
