Ingredients:
Ingredients:
14 oz. pasta ( I like to use fun shapes)
1-1½ lb. asparagus, trimmed & cut diagonally into ½" pieces
4½ T. butter
1 c. + 2 T. heavy cream (or light sour cream)
Freshly grated zest from 1 lemon
¼ c. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
½ c. finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
½ c. toasted pine nuts (optional but I always use)
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch asparagus in boiling water, until crisp tender, approximately 2-4 minutes, depending on the thickness of the asparagus. Drain and rinse with cold water. Cook pasta in gently boiling water for approximately 6 minutes, until tender but firm. Drain and rise with cold water. In a large skillet, heat butter and cream over medium low heat until butter is melted, and stir in lemon juice, lemon zest and salt. Add pasta and asparagus to sauce and cook over medium heat, tossing gently until heated through (about 2 minutes). Add parsley, pine nuts and salt and pepper to taste. Toss well. Sprinkle with fresh Parmesan cheese.

Personal Notes:
I found this recipe on a bag of Palm Tree Pasta I ordered to support Maggi's band program. We all loved it.
