32 ounces sauerkraut, drained but not rinsed
17.6 ounce package of Bechtle German Egg Noodles (Spaetzle), cooked
6 large yellow onions, sliced thin
1 cup butter
1 tsp salt
10 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Melt butter in large skillet.
Add the onions and salt and saute over medium low heat , stirring frequently, until onions are tender and golden brown, about 40 minutes.
Taste for seasoning,
Layer sauerkraut in the bottom of a 3 quart oven proof casserole pan.
Add the noodles, then the onions and last the cheese,
Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.

Can substitute 16 ounce bag of Mrs. Weiss Kluski Noodles for the Bechtle noodles.
