"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Apple pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Allow your puff pastry sheets to come to room temperature

Mix together 1/4 cup sugar and 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon (set aside)

Lightly flour a rolling mat and roll each pastry sheet to 11x13.
Brush on melted butter
Sprinkle one with cinnamon and sugar
Leave about 1/2 inch on one long side without sugar, then place the second pastry sheet on top.
Start to tightly roll the long side (Jelly roll style)

Butter the end to seal, and allow the roll to sit 30 minutes.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Cut the roll like cinnamon rolls about 1/2 inch thick, sprinkle some sugar on the mat, and roll out in the shape of an oval, 7-8 inches long. Brush a little water on the bottom 1/2 inch. (to help seal)
Add 2 Tbsp. apple pie filling or filling of your choice in the center, then fold in half.( I like the bag filings best)
Use a fork to crimp and seal the edges. Sprinkle with sugar and Bake.

Bake at 400 for 25 minutes or until golden brown
