2/3 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs well beaten
2 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Mix wet ingredients and add to cream mixture, beat well. In medium bowl sift dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Fold in raisins. Bake for 12-15 minutes until light brown tops.
