3/4 cup flour
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup beer
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp slt
1 egg white
1 lb white fish (cod) or shrimp

Directions:
Directions:
Place flour in medium bowl. In another bowl combine egg yolk , beer, water and salt. Pour liquid into flour whisking until smooth. Allow batter to rest 30 minutes.

Beat egg whites to soft peaks, then fold into batter. Dip fish in batter and deep fry immediately until golden brown
