1 C. Water
1 C. Margarine or Butter
1/4 C. Cocoa
2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Soda
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 Eggs
1/2 C. Buttermilk

Frosting:
1/3 C. Buttermilk
1/2 C. Margarine or Butter
1/4 C. Cocoa
1 Box Powdered Sugar
1 C. Pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.
Blend water, margarine and cocoa in saucepan and heat to boiling point. Blend in next four ingredients, which have been sifted together. Stir in eggs and buttermilk, beat well. Pour into greased (use non-stick spray) 15-1/2” x 10-1/2 “ jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes. Add frosting while still hot.

Frosting:
Heat buttermilk and margarine together to boiling point. Pour over powdered sugar and cocoa, which have been sifted together. Beat until creamy. Stir in chopped pecans. Mixture will not be thick. Pour on top of cake as soon as you remove the cake from the oven.
