Banana Bread Recipe

1 cup sugar
1/2 butter, softened
2 eggs
3 mashed ripe bananas
1 t. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour-add salt, baking soda, baking powder and set aside.

Cream butter and sugar
Gradually add one egg at a time
Add mashed banana-stir well
Stir in dry ingredients.
Turn into well greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes
Remove from oven and let stand in pan for few minutes.
Then remove to cool.

While I am not a fan of banana bread, I have fond memories from an early age of baking with Z and learning much more than how to cook.
