1 1/2 cups mincemeat
1 unbaked pie shell
1 1lb 2 ounce can pumpkin pie filling
1/4 cup orange juice
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
whipped cream for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Spread mincemeat evenly in the bottom of the pie shell.
Prepare pumpkin pie filling according to label directions substituting orange juice and evaporated milk for liquid requested in recipe. Stir in orange peel.
Pour over mincemeat. Bake in hot oven 400 degree for about 45 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway in comes out clean.
Serve with whipped cream garnish

Make sure you get the pumpkin pie filling and not just canned pumpkin, there is a difference.
My mother always made this for Thanksgiving, it was the best of both worlds in one pie!!
