1 pound (6 cups) pecan halves
2 egg whites, beaten
1 c. sugar
4 T. cinnamon
2 t. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Coat pecans with egg whites. Mix dry ingredients in a ziplock bag. Toss pecans in the bag and coat evenly. Then, spread nuts in one layer on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes. Then, stir nuts and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes. Be sure not to over cook.

Let the nuts cool completely in pan for at least an hour before packaging.

Bobbie did not love cooking, but she had some great go-to recipes. These pecans are great with a cheese board. I have given them for holiday gifts many times. They are easy to make in large or small quantities.
