5 lbs chicken pieces (legs and thighs best)
6 cloves garlic
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup pitted prunes, chopped
1/2 cup dried figs, chopped
1/4 cup spanish green olives, pitted and whole
1/4 cup capers with a bit of juice
3 bay leaves
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup white wine
2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except parsley and marinate for a few hours or overnight in fridge. Arrange chicken pieces in a large, shallow baking pan and pour marinade over. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes, basting frequently with pan juices. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
Note: can also be done in the crock pot.
Serve with rice and green salad.
