3 eggs
1 can Eagle brand milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups boiling water
10-inch unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until foamy. Add Eagle Brand milk and vanilla. Pour in boiling water. Mix well.

Pour mixture into pie shell and bake at 350º until set. It is done when a knife blade point is inserted in the middle and comes out clean.

Melissa says this is a little story that mom told me about what Me-maw did one time: When making the Custard Pie, she accidentally poured in Liquid Smoke instead of vanilla!!! You could not eat it!!!!!
