1 cup whipping cream
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
3 cups flour

Filling:
4 cups milk
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups sugar, divided in half
4 tbsp flour
2 eggs
2 packages vanilla sugar (Dr. Oetkers)

Cookie Layers:
1. Cream sugar and butter in a medium mixing bowl
2. Slowly beat in whipping cream and eggs
3. Mix baking soda in to 2 1/2 cups flour
4. Add flour to mixing bowl to make a soft dough. Add extra flour until desired consistency, usually around 3 cups total
5. Roll dough in to a log in parchment paper and chill for 1hr
6. Cute dough roll in to 8 even sections. Roll each section very thin, use spring form pan as template to cut to shape
7. Bake 1 or 2 at a time at 450* for 3 to 4 minutes


Filling:
1. In a small pot, bring 4 cups of milk and 3/4 cup sugar to a boil, stirring frequently
2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, 3/4 cup sugar, eggs, and 1/4 cup milk -- beat well
3. Slowly add flour mixture to boiling milk, beating until mixed well
4. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil. Cook 1 minute.
5. Remove from heat, slowly add vanilla pudding mix and stir well.


Napoleon Torte:
1. Pour a ladle full of pudding mixture on the bottom of a large plate
2. Add one cookie layer, then repeat for 5 to 7 layers.
3. Allow to cool, then crumble cookie crumbs on top and sides
4. Chill for 24 hours prior to serving
