Whole Chicken..................................14 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
1 Onion, finely chopped.....................½ Cup Fresh Parsley
4 Celery Ribs, diced...........................5 Cloves Garlic
3 Carrots, s!iced.................................½ lb Small Shaped Pasta
2 Medium Potatoes, diced

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot place all ingredients except pasta. Add enough water to cover by 1 inch and add pepper and 1 tbsp salt. Bring to a boil then simmer, partially covered about 2 hours of until chicken is very tender. Remove chicken from off the bones and shred into large pieces. Take a potato masher and gently mash the soup a little bit. Put chicken back in pot. Serve with pasta. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
