1 qt vinegar
1 tbs alum
1/2 c salt

Directions:

Mix water, vinegar, alum and salt.
Boil mixture
Wash cucumbers and sterilize,
Pack in quart jars with wad of dill at bottom & center
Add boiling water mixture and seal tight.
