For the salad
1 head Iceberg, washed, dried thoroughly and shredded
2 Red Bell Peppers, chopped
5 Stalks Celery, chopped
1 Red Onion or Sweet onion, sliced thin
1 10 oz. package of frozen peas


8 oz. Sour Cream
8 oz. Mayo
3 T. Sugar


1 C. Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 lb. Bacon

Using a 9" x 13" pan, layer the salad ingredients in the order listed.

Combine the sour cream and mayo and spread over the salad. Sprinkle with the sugar and then the cheese. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Before serving, cook and crumble the bacon on top.

Personal Notes:
This is so good for using left over turkey from Thanksgiving. Chop turkey and place over the celery layer. I also sprinkled with white pepper before I sprinkled the cheese.
