5 1/2 pounds of red tomatoes
3 oranges
2 lemon
in a cheesecloth 2 cinnamon sticks, 1 tablespoon cloves and 3 oz crystallized ginger
sugar equal to cooked tomatoes
1 package Certo liquid

Directions:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Score the tomato bottoms with an X. Plunge the tomatoes into the boiling water and blanch for 20 seconds to loosen their skins. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the tomatoes to a cutting board and let cool slightly. Peel the tomatoes. Halve them crosswise and remove the seeds. Cut out the hard cores. Keep juice.

In a large, heavy pot, combine the 1/2 the reserved juice and sliced fruits. Add an equal amount of sugar and tomato mulch and cheesecloth contents to pot. Bring to a rolling boil. Then reduce to medium until fruit and rind goes clear.
Mix in package of Certo liquid stir for a minute. Let cool and jar, makes 6 pints.
